Space rental

The Village Hut and the meeting room in the Kolttatalo are available for rent and reservation under the following conditions:

The meeting room at Kolttatalo is primarily rented for meetings, small-scale courses, and day service activities. Those renting the meeting room have access to the meeting room itself, as well as the kitchen and lobby areas to the extent necessary for organizing the event.

The Village Hut is free of charge for school children and kindergarten children. Additionally, the Village Hut is free for the church as a substitute for the parish hall. The meeting room in the Kolttatalo is free for villagers, local associations, and reindeer herding cooperatives. For other users, the facilities are rented according to the following price list:

Village Hut: €50/day users from outside the village and €25/day local private individuals

Kolttatalo meeting room: €20/hour

Reservations must be made in advance through the Skolt Saami Cultural Foundation, which manages and administers the keys for the Village Hut and the Kolttatalo. The facilities can be booked in the reservation book located in the meeting room of the Kolttatalo, and key handover can be arranged with the foundation’s employees. Reservations can also be inquired by phone or via the foundation’s info-email.
